Just went the other way and realized I sent you misinformation. Backing up
here.

Francis Thornton who died 1726 in King George Co was married to Alice
Savage. His father was William Thornton Sr, Gent and his mother was
Elizabeth Rowland? . I think there is some confusion here. I need to get
some Thornton files out and refer you to those.

We can be talking about two different lines here. Rereading your email, it
appears that you could be talking about two different people rather than
father and son.

Subject: Savage

I don't have any Savages in Nansemond County, but Anthony Savadge d 1695 in
Richmond Co. His wife, Sarah Constable, predeceased him.

Alice Savadge m. Francis Thornton (1651-1726) of Stafford Co. They named a
son Anthony and a daughter Sarah. Alice's husband was executor of Anthony
Savage's will 1695; was that man her father or her brother?
