Alexander DANIEL(s) married Nancy CARWILE(s) in Campbell Co, VA on 28 March
1805 with Alexander DANIEL and Peter DANIEL as bondsman.

Alexander served in the War of 1812 from 02 Aug 1814 to 10 Dec 1814 and was
Honorably discharged at Norfolk, VA for disability.  He died 05 March 1845 in
Jackson Co, IL.  His wife Nancy filed for Bounty Land on 05 Sep 1855 in Henry
Co, IL.  She filed again on 04 May 1872 in Davies Co, MO (Post Office
Gallatin) at age 82 for "War of 1812 Declaration of a Widow for Pension".  On
17 May1872 she was issued a Land Warrant (#113.065) for 160 acres by the
Department of the Interior.  On 18 Oct 1872 a certificate listed Nancy's
Pension as eight dollars a month beginning 14 Feb 1871.  Nancy's Bounty Land
File Number was WC4148.
    Only one child, Richard DANIEL is known to have been born to Nancy and
Alexander.  Richard was born on 09 Dec 1812 in Botencourt, VA and died 13 Jan
1893 in Cloud, KS.
    This information is from Virgil DYMOND of Mesa, AZ.   Virgil DYMOND is a
descendant of Alexander and Nancy Carwile DANIEL.
