The lack of historical knowledge - or even desire for such knowledge - and the blatant racial prejudice shown by the frequent posters here amazes me.
There is nothing quite as amusing as folks with little historical knowledge rushing to give their opinion as though it was to be valued by us readers on the same basis as Ph D’s who have spent their lives studying this particular place, the written accounts and seen firsthand the evidence.

Keep those home spun ideas coming! They are really quite entertaining.
