Hello Everyone,

I was wondering if someone out there might have 1967 issues of the Virginia
Genealogical Society Quarterly and might be willing to do a lookup for me.

I am trying to determine if a James DeFord who shows up in 1805 Wake Co NC,
might be the same DeFord in Isle of Wight VA, who disappears from records
there about this time.

I have found reference to the following article for Volume 5, 1967, at the
VGS' website (http://www.vgs.org/oldmags.htm)

Isle of Wight, "A Register of the ages of Several Persons Children" Mill
Swamp Church, 1777-1790; Families of Lancaster (3), Holleman, Mangum, Bell
(2), Deford, Jones, Strait, Champion, Womble, and Holleway

I am interested in the names of the DeFord children and would appreciate any
assistance. FYI, I have determined that some descendants of the Womble and
the Holleman families went to Wake. Also, Lancaster information is that
James DeFord married Martha Lancaster, d/o Henry.

Thanks in advance.

Best Regards,
Janet Hunter
