Dear Pat and Kathleen,

Your Emails made me so wish to be more actively into research again.  I have
researched about 50 years, 17 years while living in Salt Lake City where the
most records are.  But age and health forced me to move and my research days
were drastically curtailed.  All this before I had a chance to search out to
prove my Smith, Talliaferro lines.  I do have the complete set of Taliaferro
notes from Taliaferro Times.

I still work on genealogy mostly from home, though I have been to the Va.
Library in Richmond several times in the last year where I filmed by digital
camera about 1500 pages of the R. Bolling Batte file.  I will be returning to
check into the Nan Overton West file which I have just learned they have.  My dau.
Margaret takes me to this library when she has business in Richmond and so I
have to wait for her next visit.

I would love to hear from both of you.  If you know of any errors in the
above, I would very much appreciate knowing of them.
