Am seeking information on the following veterans of the Revolutionary War:

Francis Farley
James Ellison
Richard Blankenship

According to "Virginia's Colonial Soldiers," by Lloyd Dewitt Bockstruck,
Francis Farley was a member of Capt. James Robertson' group. According to a
letter by Capt. Robertson written on 15 September 1774, Francis Farley had
been on duty for 25 days.

According to Virginia's Colonial Soldiers, James Ellison was listed as a
member of Capt. John Lewis' company in a document dated September 1774.

According to Virginia' Colonial Soldiers, Richard Blankenship, like Francis
Farley, was a member of Capt. James Robertson's company & as of 15 September
1774 had been on duty for 44 days.

Francis Farley, James Ellison & Richard Blankenship are all listed as
participants in the 1st battle of the American Revolution -- the Battle of
Point Pleasant.

Is this the Francis Farley that married Nancy Ann Blankenship & who was the
father of Nancy Elizabeth Jane Farley?

Is this Capt. James Ellison? Is he James Ellison II, husband to Nancy
Elizabeth Jane Farley? Or is he James Ellison I, husband of Anne English?

What is Richard Blankenship's relationship to Nancy Ann Blankenship, wife of
Francis Farley?

Please forgive the bombardment of questions. Thank you in advance for any
information or guidance re: these Revolutionary War veterans. I look forward
to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Mike Peters
