Greetings All!

 

We'd like to let folks know that retired archaeologist L. B. "Lefty"
Gregory, will be at the Surry County Historical Society on Bank Street in
Surry, from 1:00PM -4:00PM on Wednesday, August 17, 2011, to chat about
archaeology and identify artifacts and items that people bring. The public
is invited to visit and bring their artifacts for identification and
information. 

Lefty's digs included Flowerdew Hundred, Maycocks, Weyanoke Old Town, and
Claremont Manor.
