You will receive a confirmation email with information about joining the meeting. As always, space is limited, but guests are always welcome!
Nancy Wright Beasley, author of Izzy’s Fire:  Finding Humanity in the Holocaust, and The Little Lion:  A Hero in the Holocaust will share her 23-year journey of researching and writing about Holocaust survivors.  Her books are based on individual accounts - written memoirs, tape recordings and personal interviews that took place in the U.S., Canada, Israel and Lithuania.  These stories are told through the eyes and experiences of thirteen members of five Jewish families from Lithuania. Her presentation will focus on some of the many obstacles she faced, as well as welcome bits of humor, as she gathered information and uncovered records and documents. Her work exemplifies the importance of preserving and the powerful impact personal stories bring to family histories.
