I want to thank all those who sent  me info on the John Todd who was
appointed by Patricl Henry.Gov. Va  in 1778 as in charge of the Illinois
Territory.
  To give you a little of the info I have received, here is a small Todd
Decendent Chart;

          3. John Todd, b. 1750. d> 1782

                  5. Elizabeth P. Todd, m. Ninian Wirt Edwards, Gov Ill.
1826-1830
                       Lived in Springfield, Ill.
                   5. Mary (Ann) Todd, m. Abraham Lincoln, Springfield, Ill.
