The LOV list is nice to have.  It is like a closet, lots of
stuffed stored in there but no one ever opens the door.

I'm not placing blame here...as I don't know why we have
become so inactive.  I suspect a part of it is that so many
people got "shot at" over the years by the "holier-than-
thou" crowd that every one took their queries and ran for
cover.

I belong to a list:

Every day, all day they post data on genealogy.  People are
encouraged to place queries and other members help them out
by researching via checking their own in-house resources.
Replies to the original query are to be sent to the whole
list!  Constant input and exchange of history.

I would encourage the keepers of the VA list to join the OLD
CHESTER list for awhile and see if there is a way we can
attain anything near this activity level.

It will take better minds than mine to jump-start the list.
Anyone up to it?

Just a thought.
