The LOV list is nice to have. It is like a closet, lots of
stuffed stored in there but no one ever opens the door.
I'm not placing blame here...as I don't know why we have
become so inactive. I suspect a part of it is that so many
people got "shot at" over the years by the "holier-than-
thou" crowd that every one took their queries and ran for
cover.
I belong to a list:
[log in to unmask]
Every day, all day they post data on genealogy. People are
encouraged to place queries and other members help them out
by researching via checking their own in-house resources.
Replies to the original query are to be sent to the whole
list! Constant input and exchange of history.
I would encourage the keepers of the VA list to join the OLD
CHESTER list for awhile and see if there is a way we can
attain anything near this activity level.
It will take better minds than mine to jump-start the list.
Anyone up to it?
Just a thought.
