I am looking at my great grandfather, Anthony Sales, in the census of 1860.
He lived in Richmond and his occupation was Heater. What did a Heater do?
It doesn't pay well because his possessions are valued at only $100.00.

Also, is there a way I can get births and deaths for Richmond during this
period?
