Recognizing virus emails should generally not be sent to any email list, I
nonetheless, feel compelled to point out that the message reprinted below
concerns a HOAX, not a computer virus.

For details, please go to:
http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/jdbgmgr.exe.file.hoax.html

All PC users are advised to check the virus hoax page at Symantec:
http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/hoax.html

or at McAfee:
http://vil.mcafee.com/hoax.asp

before sending out advisory emails to their friends. In this particular
case, deleting this file will probably not harm the average PC user, but
other such messages have people deleting vital files which will disable
their computers.

Sorry for the non-genealogy posting.

Best regards,
Rob Jolly
