I am researching the Thompson family, mostly concentrated in Neslon County and surrounding areas.   

The earliest relatives I have so far are James and Mary Thompson (not sure of her maiden name) married in 1765.   

They had ten children.  I also know that James is from York England and was born around 1730.  His occupation is listed as shoemaker.

Any information on this family is appreciated.

I also have James married to Elizabeth Ponton, but no other information about them.
