I don't know of a neighborhood called
Tanners Creek but there is a small
bridge in the Lafayette/Winona area of
Norfolk on Tidewater Drive called the
Tanners Creek Bridge. Using Google
Maps you can go to where Norview Avenue
and Tidewater Drive come together like a
'T', Click on the street view, then click the
SW arrow for Tidewater Drive. You can
then travel over the bridge in increments.
You also have the option to grab and pull
the picture to give yourself a look at the
creek itself at anytime during the crossing.
There is also an East and West Tanners
Creek Drive that loops around between
64 and North Military Highway. Hope
this helps.

Vicki, do you know if the Tanner's Creek of original Norfolk can be found anywhere today, or a sign indicating the location?

  Thanks.
