Original minute books dated 1761-1858 are at the Library of Virginia. Minute books 1801-1841 are also available on microfilm. It's possible the pre-1761 minute books are a the clerk's office.

Subject: [VA-ROOTS] Frederick Co Court Minutes 1755-1770

Hello, I am searching for court minute books (not court order books) for Frederick Co between 1755-1770. Can anyone tell me if they have survived, or where they might be located, or I might search for them? I know there is a book by JD Davis treating the period 1743-45, but cannnot seem to find any information on later court minutes. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction.
