I am researching Puckett/Pucket/Poquet/Pinkett, most of the time the name is
spelled correctly as Puckett.  I have found information on a land deed of
Thomas Hobby Puckett which proves they were in Raleigh Parish, Amelia County
in 1777, but I don't know where Raleigh Parish was located at that time.

The father of Thomas Hobby Puckett was Richard Puckett, Richard was born in 
Henrico County in 1719 according to the Bristol Parish Vestry Book to 
Richard and Martha Puckett.
