The microfilm of the death records is available through interlilbrary
loan at your local library. The death records are separate by
jurisdiction, and go through 1896, so they won't cover the 1897 death,
and they do not list the mother's maiden name. Your best bet for the
wife's maiden name is the marriage records, which are indexed. The
marriage index is also on microfilm and available on interlibrary loan.

Your best bet for the parents names of your second death is the census
records, and if not there, probate records.
