I should have mentioned in my first message that the bound out order was for 
the "guardian" to ensure that the child was educated. There was no mention 
of learning a trade or whatever and that was what made me think at first that 
the "guardian" must have been a relative.

You had mentioned a book maintained by the overseer and I am quite 
interested in it, is there a name for these books?
