Am lookking for information re: the eight children of James Ball
McCarty (10 Apr 1826-19 Mar 1888) of Lancaster Co. who m. Lavinia Ann Carter
(1834-1866). He was sixth child of Capt. William Downman McCarty.

       The first child was Georgeanna Washington McCarty who shows up in the
1850 census as 3 mos old. The married [-?-] Jerdon. His last name from a
chancery suit case in Richmond County.  I am unable to find her or [-?-] Jerdon in
deeds, wills, etc. of Northern Neck.
       Second child was possibly Frances McCarty who m. Joseph Morrow. Am
unable to find infoon them in Northern Neck.
       another child is Rawleigh W.D. McCarty who diedat age 3 years (I hope
to get his date of birth and death from his tombstone at St. Mary's
Whitechapel in Lanacaster Co. next week for his birth position.
       Benjamin Franklin McCarty (17 Jan 1854-23 Aug 1928)-no information
needed on him
       Cornelia Avalon (3 Mar 1858-9 Oct 1918)- no info needed
       Judith B. McCarty ((1 Oct 1859-4 Oct 1860)- no further info needed
       Alverta Byrd McCarty (31 May 1861-10 Nov 1899)- no further info needed
       James Ball McCarty (4 Aug 1864-19 Apr 1953)- no info needed.

       Would like to know more about the first two children if anyone can
tell me where they went after they married, any children, where they died, etc.
