A Guide to West Virginia County Records on Microfilm at The Library of
Virginia
http://www.lva.lib.va.us/whatwehave/local/WVArecords/index.htm

The availability of these reels for research at The Library of Virginia
was made possible through generous donations from the Friends of the
Virginia State Archives.

The Library of Virginia has only microfilm copies of court records for
selected West Virginia counties. This microfilm is available for
reference use by patrons in the reading room. Researchers who visit the
Library can make copies from this microfilm. The Library of Virginia,
however, cannot provide copies of these records. All requests for copies
should be addressed to the: Division of Culture and History, Archives
and History Sections, The Cultural Center, 1900 Kanawha Boulevard East,
Charleston, West Virginia 23505.
