Looking for the information on the William BECK(S) family that lived in
Albemarle in the early 1800s. William died in 1804 (disappeared from the
Personal Property Tax -PPT- list and his Wife Mary/Elizabeth appeared as his
widow the next year). His Sons Thomas, Nicolas and William (all identified as
William's Sons in the PPT listings. Thomas and Nicolas were identified as
Mulattos) appeared as well as a Lucy BECK(S) in 1820. I believe this Lucy is
part of this family and that she may be Julia BECK married to David SPRADLING
in Albemarle in 1829 (her nickname was Lucy). Thank you. Tim Spradling
