The next program in the Virginia Heritage Resorce Center's Mining the
Treasure House lecture series will take place at noon on Tuesday, 17
June, 2003, in the conference rooms adjacent to the lobby in the Library
of Virginia at 800 East Broad Street in downtown Richmond.
 
The speaker will be Jennifer Davis McDaid, Archives Research Services
Coordinator at the Library of Virginia. The title of her talk is, "Needy
Writers and Sturdy Blue Pencils: The Virginia Writer's Project." The
Library holds a number of these records. The talk is one of several
which will complement the current Library exhibit, "Legacies of the New
Deal."
