There is a "New London" in Campbell Co, VA. It was county seat of Bedford
Co pre revolutionary times, but when Campbell Co was formed it found
itself
in the new county, and Bedford's seat moved to Liberty, now Bedford
(city).
Campbell's seat is now at Russburg.
New Bedford is still there on US 460, just east of the county line.

Subject: Where was London, VA in 1831 and 1832?

Where was London, VA in 1831 and 1832? Was it the same as London, Kanawha
Co., WV?

Or was London renamed or is it defunct?
