Hi Vicki,
I am also interested in the BENNETT family but a little later in time.
My ancestor FIELDING TURNER (1706-1794), as a member of Cameron Parish,
was assigned an apprentise named FIELDING BENNETT in 1754 to learn the trade
of cordwainer.
I would like to know if this Fielding Bennett was a relative of my
Fielding Turner.
Does anyone have any information on this relationship?
Note: Fielding Turner's 2nd (?) wife (abt. 1772) was ANN (COX) BOGGESS, the
widow of ROBERT BOGGESS. Robert's mother was MARY BENNETT (1685-1742).
Thanks,
Pam
