Our Family History Center has finally re-opened after the holiday shutdown
and now we have 8 new microfilms to scan. Two of these films are for King
William County, the Personal Property Tax Lists 1782-1832 and the Land Tax
Lists 1782-1819. What is interesting about these films is there are Land Tax
Lists in the Personal Property microfilm and there are Personal Property Tax
Lists in the Land microfilm. By combining these misplaced tax lists and
including some of our original Personal Property 1782-1793 tax lists we will
create new, more complete listings for the Land and Personal Property Tax
Lists of King William.

This week's free sample is the 1783 King William Land Tax List. These are
the same images that will be included on our new CDR-000448, the King
William 1782-1819 Land Tax Lists. You can access these free samples at:

http://www.binnsgenealogy.com/FreeSample/CDR-000448/1783/

There are 14 images. All the images total about 9 mbs. Have fun.
