I can think of one very specific migration in which families DID go from
south GA to southern Ohio. These were the Quaker families of NC who migrated
mid 1700s to Wrightsborough (currently McDuffieCo), GA, and after
experiencing much difficulty, most of these families packed up and headed
straight to BelmontCo, OH to live happily ever after.
