Content-Type: text/plain;
	charset="iso-8859-1"
Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable

We have an ancestor who served in the Civil War.. his name was Richard =
Daniel Alley..but some of his letters written back to Va from Tn shows a =
signature Daniel P.. His descendants say he used
Richard on in a formal situation (his Civil War record had Richard =
Daniel  ) .   Did the capitol P have=20
another meaning? =20
Thank you,
Marilyn Canfield
