Who was she and who were her parents?

I have Elizabeth Brierton Jones as being born in 1760.

She had one child, Robert Jones, from a previous marriage,
and died without having a child by Colonel John Cabell.

In John's will, he refers to Robert as Robert Jones Cabell,
and Robert's son as Samuel Jones Cabell, implying that
Robert was adopted. There are no records confirming that.
