I'm trying to pinpoint the location of Bacon's Castle and am confused by all
the postings on the Internet.

I've found reference that it was in Lawne's Creek Parish of Surry County, then
another source said it was in Southwark parish.

Didn't Southwark take in the Lawne's Creek parish when it came into being? I
can see that it's possible the castle fell into Southwark at that time.

But wasn't it originally in Lawne's Creek Parish?
