Thanks for the information & for the prompt reply. I believe that the PETERS
families, Michael, Daniel & Joseph, living next door to each other, are of
the line that descends with German heritage from Christian PETERS. Maybe a
researcher of this line could clarify or disprove this hunch.

My line descends from Zachariah PETERS of Amherst County, VA & is probably of
English ancestry.

I look forward to hearing from you & to continuing this discussion.
