Hello, all..

I realize that I am not addressing classic genealogy in this
correspondence; however, I believe that 1927 could be included.

I would truly appreciate any help one might offer to me regarding the
Richmond Colts. My uncle, Otis Hastings, played for them circa 1927..I
have Googled a few sites online and they were vague at best. I contacted
Ginny Dunn and she advised that the photo section of the LoV did not have
photographs and she recommended a book that I could interlibrary loan.
Also, she suggested I interlibrary Richmond Times Dispatch on microfilm for
that time period.

I contacted the Valentine Museum which replied with a standard "form" email.

Please...if anyone has any information that they are willing to
share..photos, etc. I would be most appreciative. I am going to pursue the
microfilm as I interlibrary loan all of the time from the LoV. I am a
Richmond native; however, now living in Kansas interlibrary loan is the
closest way for me to research at the LoV.

Thanking all of you in advance,

Sincerely,

Shirley Cox Schroeder
