I have found my NAME and information I never submitted to folks other than a
few I thought I was helping. And I have NEVER done a gedcom thing. I try to
help but I have not ever given anyone permission to use my info on some of these
"for profit" groups such as Ancestry, etc.
I love helping people with information I have worked hard over 45 years to
acquire, much more work than turning on the computer and copying-such as reading
a whole state census on old microfilm, pulling heavy dusty books off shelves
in a dingy dirty old courthouse and in those days the clerks were not so
accomodating in their help as it was not the fad it is now.  But to think of
someone profiting from my work, when I was just trying to be helpful makes me
furious and don't blame you for being upset.
