Hi to the List

I am trying to assist a newby search his Virginia roots.  I have been told
there is an AME (African Methodist Episcopal) church in either Brunswick or
Mecklenburg that has a name similal to Bethel Miles or Miles Bethel AME
Family Church.  The original congregation organized ca 1870 merged with
another congregation and they now are in a different location.  I have been
told there is a compiled history of this church/congregation.

Is there anyone out there who knows of this church?  Help please!
