My ggg-gf was Gideon Terry, born about 1753 in King William County.  He paid taxes on 72 acres beginning in 1800.  I found no records of a purchase o land grant.  The land was located very closely if not inclusive of land owned by land owned by earlier Terrys (Stephen, James and Thomas) by 1701.  I can find no records to show how any of their lands were disposed of.  I assume that Gideon is the descendant of one of them but haven't been able to prove it since I find essentially no records in KWC during the intervening years.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
