Reliquary's twenty-sixth issue has been posted.

You are invited to view and download the latest edition of Prince
William Reliquary, a quarterly genealogical and historical magazine for
Prince William County, Virginia.  To view it requires version 7.0 of
Adobe Acrobat, available as a free download.

Contents of the April 2008 issue include:

*        The 1901 Map of Prince William County, Virginia, and Its
Makers, by the RELIC Staff.  Tracking the lives of William H. Brown and
his son, topographical engineer William N. Brown.

*        Prince William County in the Revolution (concluded), by Joan W.
Peters.  Identifying Revolutionary soldiers from county court minutes
and compiled service records.

*        Camp Recovery (concluded), by Beverly R. Veness.  Describes
living conditions and notable events at a CCC Camp near Canova,
Virginia.

*        Dumfries District Court Land Causes, 1793-1811 (con.),
transcribed by William Balderson.  Thomas HOOMES v. Enoch RENOE over
property near Independent Hill.  Includes the will of James FRENCH
(1741).  Other surnames: ASHMORE, BARKER, CANNON, CARGYLE, HALLEY,
HARRISON, LEE, RIDLEY, WATERS.

You may use Control+F to search the text for keywords of interest to
you.  Backfiles can be searched on Google using keyword(s) plus
'Reliquary.'  Name indexes to volumes 1, 2, 3 and 4 are now posted
online, as well as a topical guide to the first 24 issues.
