Sorry, my last message got sent before I was finished -- it should have
read:
I have seen many instances on censuses for 1850 and later where individuals
were listed in two different places. In my own family records I've found a
student who was counted at his home and at school in another county; a
domestic servant counted at her home and place of employment; and a
great-granduncle who was counted in one town as a music student and in
another as a musician.
I don't know about LVA, but if the college still exists they should have
alumni records.
