The Alexandria Library is pleased to announce that we now
subscribe to Heritagequestonline.com   This online service
includes indices and images of the US Census as well as full
text of almost 20,000 mostly out-of-print local history and
genealogy books.

This service is available both in the Library as well as from
anywhere someone has an internet connection.

Use requires a library card from the Alexandria Library.
Resident patrons of the member libraries of the Metropolitan
(DC) Council of Governments are eligible for an Alexandria
Library card.  These member systems include: Falls Church
and Fairfax, Arlington, Loudoun, and Prince William Counties
in Virginia as well as the District of Columbia, Takoma Park,
and Montgomery, Prince Georges, and Frederick Counties in
Maryland.
