Following is my data regarding two generations of the Vaughan descendents.
I am primarily interested in the PEMBERTON line, but would like to hear from
anyone who has confirming or conflicting data.

         Descendancy Narrative of Cornelius Vaughan

        I.  Cornelius VAUGHAN  married Elizabeth (surname could be FOSTER) . He was
born between 1650 and 1660. He died between October 1736 and December 1736
in Drusdale Parish, King and Queen County, VA.
        A.  Elizabeth VAUGHAN was first married to Edward Leavell of Spotsylvania
Co., VA.  Edward LEAVELL was born about 1710, and his will was probated on
14 Aug 1755.  He was the son of Edward Leavell, will probated 1 Aug 1749,
and Mary <?>.  Edward and Elizabeth Vaughan Leavell had four or five
children (the will isn't clear on the relationship of Edward Leavell, who
may be a son.  But the proven children are James, whose will was probated 18
Sep 1783 in Spotsylvania Co., VA; John, William and Nancy.)  William
PEMBERTON was guardian to James LEAVELL (d. 17 Oct 1775) and James left a
legacy to William's daughter Nancy PEMBERTON COLEMAN  whom he called "my
sister.
        1.  James LEAVELL  was born before 1755. He died in 1776 in Spotsylvania
Co., VA.
        2.  John LEAVELL
        3.  Edward LEAVELL
        4.  Nancy PEMBERTON . Her married name was COLEMAN. She was born circa 1760
in Spotsylvania County, VA, USA. She married Thomas COLEMAN, son of Edward
COLEMAN  and Lucretia WAGGONER, on 3 December 1780. She died on 11 September
1811 in Allen Co., KY. She was buried on 12 September 1811 in Everett Kirby
farm, Allen County, KY, USA.
        5.  Larkin PEMBERTON  was born before 1765 in Spotsylvania County, VA, USA.
He married Mary NEWBY, daughter of Ozwald NEWBY  and Sarah Ann DAVIS, on 7
October 1788 in Lancaster County/VA. He married Behethelon WHEATLEY,
daughter of Lucy WHEATLEY, on 2 October 1815 in Fauquier County, VA, USA. He
died between 1820 and 21 May 1822 in Orchard Farm, Culpeper County, VA, USA.
        6.  Henry PEMBERTON  was born before 1765 in VA. He married Elizabeth
SAMUELL, daughter of William SAMUELL  and Frances (--?--), circa 1 January
1787 in VA. He died between 1810 and 1815 in Henry County, KY.
        7.  Elizabeth (Betsey) PEMBERTON  died after 4 January 1793.
        8.  Mary (Polly) PEMBERTON . Her married name was CASON. She married Edmund
CASON  between 4 January 1793 and 29 October 1817. She died after 29 October
1817 in Probably Warren County KY.
        9.  Sarah PEMBERTON  was born on 17 March 1772 in Spotsylvania Co., VA. She
married Clement MONTAGUE, son of Clement MONTAGUE  and Ann BARTLETT, on 13
July 1789 in Spotsylvania Co., VA. As of 13 July 1789, she was also known as
Sarah MONTAGUE. As of 20 March 1817, her married name was Sarah DAVIS. She
married Colonel Hardin DAVIS  on 20 March 1817. She died on 17 September
1846 in Probably Barren Co., KY, at age 74.
        10.  Margaret 'Peggy' PEMBERTON . Her married name was HANER/HANOR. She was
buried in Probably Warren County KY. She died. She was born circa 1777. She
married Harmon HANER/HANOR, son of Harmon HANER  and Eleanor (--?--),
between 16 October 1785 and 4 January 1793 in Spotsylvania Co., VA.
        B.  Bridget VAUGHAN . Her married name was BROADDUS. She was born Early
1700's. She married Richard BROADDUS, son of Edward BROADDUS  and Dolly
GWYNN, before 1755. She died after 1755.
        1.  Sarah BROADDUS . Her married name was BREEDLOVE. She married Thomas
BREEDLOVE, son of Charles BREEDLOVE  and Mary PARR .
        2.  Elizabeth BROADDUS . Her married name was DOWEL. She married (--?--)
DOWEL .
        3.  Edward BROADDUS  married Mary 'Polly' PRITCHETT, daughter of James
PRITCHETT  and Ann HAWKINS . He was born circa 1735 in Caroline County, VA,
USA. He married Margaret HAM  on 15 November 1825 in Madison County, VA. He
died on 2 September 1826 in Madison County KY.
        4.  William BROADDUS  married Mildred COLLINS . He was born in 1750. He
died in 1799 in Madison County KY.
        C.  Margaret VAUGHAN . Her married name was JETER. She married William
JETER  circa 1741 in VA. She died between 1793 and 1797 in Edgefield, SC,
USA.

between 1720 and 1730 in King and Queen County, VA, USA. He married
Ellender/Elinor LEA, daughter of Francis LEA  and Ann LEA, circa 1755 in
Caroline County (?) VA. He died circa 1765 in Caroline County, VA, USA.
        1.  Cornelius VAUGHAN 3  was born on 19 March 1759 in VA. He married Nancy
Ann CARTER, daughter of Job CARTER, on 11 November 1778 in Amhearst County,
VA, USA. He died between May 1780 and June 1780 in Revolutionary War at age
21.
        2.  John VAUGHAN  was born on 24 January 1760 in VA. He married Elizabeth
LOONEY, daughter of David LOONEY  and Mary (--?--), on 16 August 1783 in
Amhearst County, VA, USA. He was buried in November 1821 in Woodford County,
KY, USA. He died on 12 November 1821 in Woodford County KY at age 61.
        3.  Anne 'Nancy' VAUGHAN . Her married name was EDWARDS STUCKER. She
married Michael STUCKER  by 1791. She married William EDWARDS  before 1779.
        4.  Mary VAUGHAN  married Larkin SANDIDGE  between 1781 and 1791 in
Amhearst County, VA, USA.
        E.  Cornelius VAUGHAN 2  was born on 18 April 1729 in Spotsylvania County,
VA, USA. He married Frances (--?--)  between 1745 and 1750. He died on 12
February 1785 at age 55.

Sarah SAMUELL, daughter of William SAMUELL  and Frances (--?--), in 1784 in
VA. He died on 24 September 1823 in Woodford County KY at age 62.

I am primarily interested in the Vaughan/Pemberton/Leavell connection and
would very much like to hear of any PRIMARY source of information that
contradicts the information presented here.
