While using the 1910 census index on line at Ancestry I found the names of
281 individuals in the "household" of Frank D. Schleter at "Richmond City".
I didn't go through all the names, but they seemed to be all white males. At
first I thought this might be a jail population. Then I noticed that the men
were all elderly, in their sixties to eighties. Does anyone know what
institution might be involved? Poor house? Old Soldiers' Home?
