At noon on Thursday, 3 December 2009, Professor Woody Holton, of the
University of Richmond, will speak at the Library of Virginia about his
new biography of Abigail Adams, who I think was the most interesting and
possibly the most influential American woman in the generation of people
who lived through the American Revolution.

There is free underground parking at the Library of Virginia at 800 East
Broad Street in downtown Richmond. For information on this and other
programs and services of the Library of Virginia, please call
804-692-3592 or visit the News & Events listings on the library's Web
site at http://www.lva.virginia.gov
