Before I would drive 200 miles for any county, I would be willing to try
www.familsearch.org and see if an LDS library if the film is available
through it for $3.50. Grantee and grantor indexes for Spotsylvania  are
available on film and some of the deeds are, too. The years are shown on
the site. I have looked at many deeds for many counties in Virginia and
have been very happy with the whole experience.
