Trying to research the family of  CARY CALVIN ALLEN, b. Aug 22, 1792, Prince
Edward Co., VA. (son of ARCHER ALLEN and wife ELIZABETH)  married abt. 1812
to AMERICA EVANS.  Is anybody familiar with the names of the offspring of
this couple?  I'm hoping to connect them to:

      1.  ELIZABETH ALLEN b. 1814, died March 31, 1887,  Petersburg, VA.,
married in  Surry Co., VA. Apr 7, 1839, to SAMUEL CARRELL CHARLES.  One of
the daughters of ELIZABETH ALLEN CHARLES was named AMERICA ADELAIDE CHARLES,
which kind of fits the old English naming pattern.

       2.  REBECCA ALLEN, who married in Surry Co., VA. on Oct 11, 1848, to
CHRISTOPHER SEWARD.

This family also seems to be closely connected to the SAVEDGE family.  Any
kinfolk out there?
