I'm trying to help a friend locate her grandfather, about whom she has very
little information.  She knows only his surname (PRESLEY) and that he was an
architect somewhere in the South during the 1940s.

This group is good at knowing how to find obscure records.  Any suggestions
about where to find AIA membership lists for Virgina and No. Car., etc., or
other ways to locate him?  Thanks,
