Ruth: I heard from the Archives and Research Dept of the Library of
Virginia this morning...((804) 692-3777). The book you mentioned was put
together like this: Volume 1 was originally published in 1912 with a
supplement published in 1913..It was reprinted in 1989.

I was given these instructions to give to you...Go to the Library of
Virginia website..Go to their "Catalog". Click on "Books and
Journals"....Query "Eckenrode" then enter the search term "Soldiers"..
There you should find the bibliographical information you need.

The Library of Virginia website is a wonderful starting point for all of
your research..Should you get totally lost, there is a "Contact us" area....
