I find it amusing that someone would think an Indian attack would be something simple, speaking as a Native American

I find it quite disturbing that living next to a great river, our 
forefathers could not think of fishing. The James River is, and almost 
always has been, one of the most productive fishing holes in Virginia. I 
want to stick my head in the sand and still think of something as simple as 
an Indian attack.

From What I have read it was never said they killed her. Only that they
probably consumed her. Unlike the husband who was convicted of killing his
pregnant wife etc....
