_____As witness even things that occur in our own times, such as the movie
about the JFK assassination "conspiracy".  It is much more difficult for
viewers un-read in history to distinguish truth from fiction in much earlier
times as witness the recent TV "historical-drama" about Benedict Arnold and
its mis-portrayal of the important American historical figures involved.

How can those who feel that a more accurate understanding of our heritage is
essential to the future well-being of our republic combat this?
