Hello Everyone,

This doesn't answer the question regarding Joseph Stuart's slaves, but I
thought I'd point out a website that has alot of information about freed
slaves in Virginia and North Carolina (and other states).  It is organized by
surnames, and I think most Virginia researchers will find families they
recognize.  Most of the information appears to be for the 1700s and earlier
1800s.
