George,

In this time period there are numerous NC references (with variants) to the present Cutawhiskie Creek in present Hertford Co., NC.

The variants include (among others): Catawaskee, Catasasky, Catawatskee Meadow; Catawatsker Meadow, Catawitskee Meadow, Catawitsky Meadow.

See Margaret M. Hofmann's Province of North Carolina 1663-1729 Abstracts of Land Patents.

Lewis/Luis WILLIAMS entries:
#226, 487, 585, 586, 658, 659, 660, 689, 927, 2202, 2503, 2930, 3104, 3114, 3190, 3249.
