Wayne, Suzanne, and Katrina,

Thank all of you for replying to my email. I have learned a lot of
valuable information from everyone that will help me solve this problem
now and in the future.

Thank you again.

If a URL is too long and gets split over two lines, most mail systems
will
recognize the "<" and ">" as delimiters to keep it together.

i.e.
xxxxxrts/circuit/histoxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxrical-records-finding-
aids.htm>

Unfortunately, 90% of the people (including me) will not realize the
mail
system split the URL until AFTER it is sent (and 4% are going to click
on
the above link just to see what happens!)

Aids
now online (try again)

If you put in the original link and type ids.htm right after the a
it
should work.

I just did it after clicking on the link and getting the error message.
In
other words the tail end of the link will be

historical-records-finding-aids.htm

I simply cannot figure out how to stop the link from rolling over.

If that doesn't work try going to
http://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/courts/circuit/historical_records.htm

then go to the "Research Aids" section and click on "finding aids are
available online"

I cannot cut and paste the web address and get to the finding aid
either. Please give us instructions on how to find the finding aids once
you get to the Fairfax Circuit Court Historical Records home page.
Please tell us what entry we should be clicking on to find the finding
aids.

Thank you.

Try
http://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/courts/circuit/historical-records-finding-a
ids.htm

In the first post the last few letters crawled over to a second line.
You have to add them to what was underlined but the above link should
work.
