Good evening, Mr.Murray!

I have found a Pleasant F. Cocke listed as being in the "5 and 9 Virginia
Regiment" according to Revolutionary War Service Records on Movavo. There
is a document signed by him, as a Deputy County Clerk, Grainger Co.,
regarding a pension application for John Dotson.
He is listed on a 1778 payroll, (a little hard to read). Another listing:
Record of Pay and Service of Officers and Men of Virginia, New York and
Georgia 1775-1856 - this page is the original page. On another page of this
same tomb, he is listed as a Lt. Pleasant F. and is listed as an Ensign,
Lt. in the "3 Virginia Regiment".

I can e-mail these pages to you if you wish. It may take a little time but
I'll be happy to do so.

His middle initial is listed as F., J., S - all look alikes.
